Consumer attitudes to Food Waste and Nappies

Blaenau Gwent CBC Communications Grant Case Study

We sought to change consumer and household attitudes to food waste, engage with consumers and provide advice around purchasing of food, portion control, food storage and use of leftovers. We sought to target new and expectant mothers from within Blaenau Gwent CBC, leaders of ante natal groups within Blaenau Gwent and other key individuals responsible for providing advice and support to new and expectant mothers. Overall we sought to promote the benefits of using Real Nappies including cost and environmental benefits. We also sought to continue to promote our recycling service and to utilise the funding to deliver the recycling message through a number of channels.
