Recycling Awareness Campaign

Ceredigion CC Communications Grant Case Study

As targets set by the Welsh Government (WG) are constantly increasing, Ceredigion County Council (C.C.C.) would like to encourage residents to partake in more recycling at the kerbside, and in doing so C.C.C. intend to introduce additional materials to the kerbside collection (polystyrene & waxed cartons).  In order to reach the 2015 target of 58%, C.C.C. would like all areas to be reaching towards 80% put out rate, which has already been reached is some areas of Ceredigion. The average put out rate for clear recycling bags over all 10 monitoring areas has already reached 64%.
