CHILDREN,YOUTH AND FAMILIES - Integrated Family Support Service (IFSS)

The ISPs cover the exchange of information between health, social care, housing, education, youth offending, probation and the voluntary sector for the purpose of delivering services, for and in respect of children and young people under 18 years of age who have been allocated a social worker. The service aims to enable parents and carers achieve the necessary behavioural changes that will improve their parenting capacity, whilst addressing the social, cultural and organisational factors which have an impact on the safe care of the child or young person and their parents. The Integrated Family Support Teams work to keep families together in a safe environment wherever possible by promoting safety, better outcomes and seamless service provision.
