Welcome to the fascinating world of Behaviour Change, where human behaviour is researched, revealed and applied in practice.
Behaviour Change Science is combination of psychology, social sciences, design thinking and practical application that could revolutionise the design and delivery of public services. It can help individuals to make better decisions by altering the way in which choices are presented to them.
Behaviour Change techniques are often light-touch and cost-effective. This offers the potential of delivering improved public services when there are increasing demands placed upon them. The importance of using behavioural insights is reflected in legislation such as The Wellbeing of Future Generations Act and policy areas such as the Prudent Healthcare agenda.
Behavioural Change Science has the potential to improve the decisions made by policy makers, service deliverers and the people who access public services.
During 2016 there will be a series of free events as part of Behaviour Change Festivals to share the research, theory and practical application of Behaviour Change Science in Wales and beyond.
To ensure that your place is reserved, please book your place by visiting and completing the Eventbrite link on each event.
