The Wallich is a supported housing organisation, working with homeless and vulnerable people across Wales. We believe in enhancing the support we offer by providing opportunities for our clients to learn new skills and to influence the service they receive. Following a review of service-user involvement in the work of the organisation, we wanted to offer opportunities for them to be fully involved in our quality assurance processes. The ‘Reflect to Prefect’ group was formed with this key aim. The group was set up in 2013. It has had a significant impact on the way we design, deliver and evaluate our services. It has also had a very positive effect on organisational culture. Most importantly, Reflect to Perfect has given service users a powerful voice – working with us as true partners.
