Llyn Parc Mawr Community Woodland Group

Seeing is Believing - Co-production Case Studies from Wales

Llyn Parc Mawr Community Woodland Group was established as part of the Cynefin programme that aims to explore new approaches to delivering long term improvements to the well-being of communities across Wales. Cynefin employs eleven ‘Place Coordinators’ who each engage with a deprived community in Wales, respond to the needs and visions of the individual communities, facilitate communication between the community, stakeholders, local and Welsh Government, and empower the local people to improve their quality of life. Cynefin’s work in Anglesey has led to several co-produced initiatives, one of which is the establishment of a new community woodland group which both benefits wildlife and contributes to the well-being of the local community.
